Crowns and Bridges in Dulwich Hill
Have you ever looked at your teeth and wished that you could change the way they appear? If your smile has been damaged, you’ve probably considered getting it repaired.
Crowns to Strengthen Teeth
A dental crown is a covering like a cap. It goes over an existing tooth that has lost some of its structure. It may have worn down over the years, cracked, have extensive decay or have been compromised from a root canal treatment.
The damaged tooth will have greater stability when a dental crown has been applied to it. It looks just like the rest of your natural teeth. We can create it to be a custom shade, blending in perfectly with your smile.
Bridges to Span a Gap
Are you missing a single tooth or multiple teeth? A dental bridge is a simple form of tooth replacement. It is anchored to teeth on neighbouring sides of the gap with a fake tooth suspended into the open space. A bridge is a permanent option that is fixed in place.
Just like a crown, it can be colour-matched to the rest of your teeth. It will be created just for you in our laboratory.
A Two-Appointment Process
Are you interested in crowns and bridges? If so, you’re probably wondering what is involved in the process. For both crowns and bridges, two appointments are needed at Wardell Dental Clinic. At the first visit, we’ll take impressions and gather the necessary information. This data is sent to our laboratory, where your restoration is made for you.
The laboratory will then send it back to our practice. You’ll return for a follow-up visit. At this appointment, we’ll fit your crown or bridge to you and make sure that you and your dentist are both satisfied with it.
