1. How long will I be required to wear Invisalign aligners?

Generally, most treatments last between 1-2 years. Depending on the severity of your misalignment, your care plan could be less than or greater than that time frame. Each day, you’ll need to wear your aligners for 22 hours. You’ll only remove them to eat, brush or floss. Luckily, most find them unnoticeable and comfortable!

2. How often will I need to visit the practice for checkups?

We’ll schedule regular checkups during the course of your Invisalign treatment to ensure that all is going according to plan. Roughly every four-six weeks you’ll be seen and you can change your aligner approximately every 2 weeks. Initially, it may feel uncomfortable as your teeth adjust. Over a few days, that should subside.
